Home Again 04:15
I left my home with a porcupine tongue I'm going where the north winds blow I'll state my case with a bottle of shame And break through the terminal doors My bag in hand, I've got nothing to lend Except the raindrops that'll show me the way And the look in ones eyes that there's something to hide When the circus comes to chase us all away And I'm living for a day that soon will end When I know that I'll be back at home again Where the lights shine bright, they bleed into the night And everything is back to how it's been.... With restless minds and a candy store smile The summer puts a bullet in my soul Just to see you once more is like heavens come ashore I'll be swimming out to you before you die.... Oh, and I'm living for a day that soon will end When I know that I'll be back at home again Where the lights shine bright, they bleed into the night And everyone is lost at home again.....

Lyrics Verse 1: Thanks for all you’ve done I’ve missed you for so long I can’t believe you’re gone You still live in me I feel you in the wind You guide me constantly I never knew what it was to be alone, no Cause you were always there for me You were always there waiting But now I come home and I miss your face so Smiling down on me I close my eyes to see Chorus: And I know, you’re a part of me And it’s your song that sets me free I sing it while I feel I can’t hold on I sing [it now] cause it comforts me Verse 2: I carry the things that remind me of you In loving memory of The one that was so true You were as kind as you could be And even though you’re gone You still mean the world to me I never knew what it was to be alone, no Cause you were always there for me You were always waiting But now I come home and it’s not the same, no It feels empty and alone I can’t believe you’re gone Chorus: And I know, you’re a part of me And it’s your song that sets me free I sing it while I feel I can’t hold on I sing [it now] cause it comforts me Bridge: I’m glad He set you free from sorrow I’ll still love you more tomorrow And you will be here with me still [All] you did you did with feeling And you always found the meaning And you always will And you always will And you always will (repeat chorus)

about

Hard rock project 'Thief In The Night' goes acoustic performing the classic Led Zeppelin song 'Kashmir' and the Johnny Rossa penned song 'Home Again' in a stripped down, organic acoustic setting that highlights Johnny's deep soulful vocal and Chris Van Duyn's acoustic guitar work. The set includes an acoustic instrumental piece with 'Etude for Chelsea' and closes with a unique arrangement of 'In Loving Memory' written by Mark Tremonti (Alter Bridge/Creed) sung as an emotional duet with Dilana and Johnny.
(Updated 11/19/13 with the addition of 'In Loving Memory')
